What is your primary product or service?
We do much more than prepare tax returns - we are problem solvers. We help business owners understand the financial impact of business decisions. By improving financial management, business owners can grow their companies more efficiently and effectively.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Early on in my accounting practice, I realized that business owners were not receiving real value from their accountants. The work get done and the tax returns get filed, but most business owners can benefit from an accountant who helps them understand what those numbers mean in a real-world context. Then that information becomes a tool that the owner can use to steer the company toward its goals.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our office is in downtown Knoxville. We serve clients in Knoxville, Maryville, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge, Clinton, Jefferson City, Morristown, Dandridge, Sevierville, Gatlinurg, Pigeon Forge, and East Tennessee.
Provide detailed directions to your location
From I-40, take the James White Parkway exit near downtown Knoxville. Veer right toward Neyland Drive. Take the Cumberland Avenue exit. The entrance to the First Tennessee Plaza parking garage is on the left just up the hill from the first traffic light.
What type of payments do you accept?
We invoice our clients and accept payment by check.

Van T. Elkins is the owner of the firm.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office hours are 8:30 to 5:30 weekdays, except some federal holidays.
