Providing excellent mediation services priced using a sliding scale for limited and modest means
Chartered in 1994 as a Tennessee nonprofit corporation, CMC has grown out of a collaboration between UT College of Law, the Knoxville Bar Association, Legal Aid of ET, and the Knox County Courts. We conduct approximately 700 mediations each year referred from the county courts, law enforcement, attorneys, agencies, schools, churches, neighborhood associations and individuals. CMC also provides mediation training to our volunteer mediators and others, as well as conflict coaching, skills training, and small business dispute resolution service.
