How long have you been in business?
My first mural was in my 20 year old daughter's nursery! And I have lived and worked in three states since then.
What is your primary product or service?
Murals, faux finishes, and color and design advice can change your home in creative and remarkable ways! My clients are willing to step out of the box of solid neutral colors and create a space that is uniquely their own! They want to walk into their house, their room, and just smile...because it is their favorite place!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always been an artist, growing up with a remarkably talented grandfather who was a painter and studio business owner. After graduating with a degree in graphic design, and had my first job in fashion illustration for advertising, I "took it on the road", marrying my husband and following with him in the military. I have worked free-lance and in my own business for the last 25 years!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Many artists have their own "style"' or a recurring theme that sets them apart. My job involves painting a different idea, theme, style, mood, clients of all ages, or setting, or all of the above, every week! So, in a way, anything goes, from realistic, to cartoon characters, to muted and watercolor tones, to brilliant neon graffiti! Not to mention faux finishes - there are so many! Or a stunning combination of a beautiful faux finish with hand painting together! I am not locked into, or best at, a particular style. I strive to deliver what you want, and deliver the best you can imagine!
